I am a student at San Francisco State University, studying Biology with a focus on physiology, and I aspire to achieve an MD-PhD. Originally from Ecuador, my academic interest is centered to understand the function of the brain. I volunteer at a hospital and assisting in surgeries in my country which strengthened my desire to become a scientist doctor. Outside of my academics, I like to travel, spend time with my family and my two golden retrievers. Also, I love basketball and cooking.
